Initial Thoughts
When tackling this lab we chose the simplify the problem as best as we could. The first way took into consideration the launch angle. When a ball is launched off a ramp the path the ball takes is a parabola, if the ball is launch at a final angle of 0 degrees the ball will begin its fight at the vertex of a parabola. The second applies mostly to the calculations of the problem. The easiest way to do the calculation is to separate them in the x and y directions, Y being vertical and X horizontal. |
